Podstrana is connected with destinations in Croatia and abroad via Split and its national and international transport connections: by bus, rail, boat and air.
If organising your own road transport, count on a 15-minute drive between the city port in Split and port in Strožanac at the beginning of Podstrana ( following the Jadranska magistrala DC 8 coastal thoroughfare), i.e. about half an hour if you’re taking the E 71 and DC 8 roads after exiting the A 1 motorway in Dugopolje.

The bus terminal and railway station are located at the city port, on the eastern side of the coast of Split.
Podstrana is served by the regular bus routes of the Promet company (route no. 60) and Dalmatinac, which depart from Split’s suburban bus terminal located on Sukošan (approximately 1.5 kilometres from the Port of Split) and stop at the market near the city centre (300 m from the port).
A shuttle bus for Resnik Airport, located about 25 km away from Split, departs from the bus terminal. You can also reach the airport via suburban bus route no. 37.

If you’re coming with your own boat, the marina of the hotel Le Meridien Lav (5*) is at your disposal. The marina offers 74 sea berths for vessels that are up to 40 metres in length. During summer, the marina also offers berthing on the outer coast, which is suitable for the transit berthing of mega yachts.
